It is a truth universally acknowledged that a devoted reader in possession of a love for literature must be in want of an evening with Jane Austen. On the occasion of her 250th birthday, we cordially invite you to join us in celebrating the wit, wisdom, and words of Miss Austen. Together, we shall read selected passages from one of her cherished novels and engage in delightful conversation about her language, characters, and the society they inhabit. This gathering shall be conducted entirely in English and is suited for those with at least an intermediate command of the language (B1 or higher). All that is required is a fondness for fine prose and a willingness to converse in the spirit of Regency England.
